Saudi blogger Raif Badawi freed from prison after a decade, partner says
The Quebec-based partner of Saudi blogger Raif Badawi, who has been imprisoned for the former decade, says he has been freed from a Saudi prison.
Ensaf Haidar, who lives with their youngsters in Sherbrooke, Que., tweeted at the moment that Badawi has been introduced.
A spokesperson for the family says it has no other statement and it isn’t transparent what cases keep for Badawi, whose supporters and family were calling for his release since his sentence expired on Feb. 28.
